What you get with ESPN+

ESPN+ just recently signed a deal with the UFC, making it easier to watch upcoming fights just about every weekend they have one. They also have in-depth analysis of the fights and various pay-per-view events. It’s perfect to get insights into betting on MMA.

On the UFC streaming side of it, you gain access to the very popular 30 for 30 shorts. If you have the time for it, which you should make time for this, you can go and watch every 30 for 30 movie in their library.

Once new ones get added, you can watch before it gets released to the public, so you are always one step ahead of the viewing game.

Also with streaming, live sports just got easier to watch with this subscription. There is nothing better than to get out your phone or device at any moment and be able to watch a college football game or some MLB action.

Having the content anywhere you go is truly a remarkable feature, and makes it very worthwhile in on-the-go sports viewing.

The content that really shines, as far as a budget side of this, is the amount of content that the UFC has. If you were to try and watch some of these events alone, you are looking at close to $80 each for a pay-per-view event.

With this subscription, you gain 20 Live UFC Fight Nights, over 100 total UFC fights, including early prelims, prelims and main-card events and then UFC pay-per-view fights. This, in total, is worth it because of all the money you save and the additional content.

With UFC 248 betting, you’re sure to be at a knowledge advantage compared to those without this subscription package.

ESPN+ Originals

ESPN+ has exclusive inside sports content that has virtually no competition. “NBA Rooks,” for example, follows numerous rookies in the NBA and how they are transitioning to the professional level of basketball. This is a newer feature and really shines to give an inside feeling to what these rookies go through.

Detail” is one of the more interesting originals that ESPN+ offers. With game footage being reviewed by the likes of Peyton Manning and Daniel Cormier, in their respective sports worlds, you get inside knowledge and points of view from some of the legends in their sports. Watching a legend go over game film and giving his advice is priceless.

Miles to Go” is an inside view on Les Miles and his attempt to turn around the University of Kansas football team. Episodes cover what he has done in detail and key moves he made to get the program back on its feet. He is attempting to take his rich winning history and make Kansas a strong football team again.

ESPN 30 for 30

These documentaries cover some of the most controversial and impactful times in sports. These very passionate moments of retelling a story give viewers another look at what was going on at that time and how their stories came to be.

To me, this one of the best features offered. The 30 for 30 series is phenomenal, with some of the best work ESPN has ever done.

With ESPN+, you will have access to this exclusive library of sports stories. Some movies include the rivalry between Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz, Dennis Rodman, OJ Simpson, and even the rivalry in the hotdog eating contests.

UFC Exclusive Content

ESPN+ is your gateway to pretty much anything UFC-related. This includes UFC Pay-Per-View events, Fight Nights, Dana White’s Contender Series, Detail from the Mind of Daniel Cormier, UFC Destined, archives of the UFC’s greatest fights, and more.

The content also has in-depth analysis of the fights. Cormier’s Detail series is outstanding, giving the viewer a chance to hear from one of the UFCs greatest talking about the game.

It is amazing to hear someone break down the current fighters of today and how they spend their hard-working hours to craft their fighting style.

With the subscription, you can also stream the fights or whatever content you find on any compatible devices. This gives you unmatched and incredible UFC coverage.

Fantasy Sports Exclusive Content

ESPN+ has the tools to up your fantasy game. Some of the content includes Lineup Optimizer, Free Agent Recommendations, Auction Value Generator, and expert analysis from Matthew Berry on The Fantasy Show.

You will get updates and articles, based on the fantasy sports you are playing, and insider opinions on what to do next with your teams. The show gives an upbeat and exciting thrill to fantasy sports. You can really set yourself up to dominate your fantasy league by watching The Fantasy Show.

This experience is another example of what makes the ESPN+ subscription great. You are opening a door to new ideas and better advice when it comes to the sports betting world.

Premium Articles

Another feature in ESPN+ is the daily premium articles with in-depth analysis from ESPN fantasy experts Mike Clay, Eric Karabell, Tristan Cockroft, and even DraftKings Millionaire Maker winner Al Zeidenfeld.

These articles are a step above some of the content you will find anywhere else, all at your fingertips. With inside knowledge and tips, you are getting the industry standard in the sports fantasy world.

It is convenient that you are able to read into the minds of some of the best fantasy players and analysts out there.

Streaming Breakdown

You are able to watch up to three devices at the same time for your ESPN+ account. The app streams in high definition, and you are able to pause and rewind content as you watch it. You can also partially minimize the screen while you are browsing the app.

So what is all included if you want to stream? You can stream live sports and originals. These live events are in the thousands, and range from MLB, NHL, MLS, Serie A, FA Cup, Top Rank Boxing, and more. Also, you get the UFC Fight Nights and PPV events, Grand Slam tennis, and access to your favorite college sports like football, basketball, and lacrosse.

Do not forget your ESPN Originals series from the top names in sports, including Peyton’s Places, NBA Rooks, Alex Morgan: The Equalizer, The Fantasy Show with Matthew Berry, and more.

Finally, access to the huge 30 for 30 library that features innovative storytelling that revolutionized the sports documentary.

You may have trouble viewing some of the content you want, such as the NFL or MLB. The reason for this is because these packages already have their own separate subscriptions, so you might not get to watch a certain game you were wanting. ESPN+ can only offer licensed content and original programming.

Supported Streaming Devices

ESPN has a very large customer support system in case you need to ask them anything or to find out more information.

The following are supported devices for ESPN+. Just about any device that is compatible with downloading the ESPN app should work:

  • Apple: iPhone, iPad, Apple TV
  • FireTV: Fire Tablet, Fire TV
  • Android: Android TV, Phone, Tablet
  • Roku: Roku Streaming Device
  • Samsung: Samsung Smart TV
  • Google ChromeCast
  • PS4
  • Xbox One
  • Oculus

Is ESPN+ Worth It?

Absolutely! For the small price entry and the amount of content you receive, it is almost like they are giving this away for free. For just a couple of bucks, you can try out one of the most premier sports packages ever put together.

If you consume a lot of sports, want to watch more sports, or even have MMA betting apps, now is your opportunity to really take it all in and enjoy this content.

Again, the only con to this so far is that some pro sports are missing due to the fact that they have their own subscription services. In the future, it could be possible that ESPN+ will have everything under its belt and will be able to provide the full package that it hopes to provide one day.

Below are more in-depth features of the ESPN+ package and what it can do for you.
